Picasso-esque Cubist Digital Portrait

This is my picasso - esque project. I used different perspectives of Lorde's face in order to recreate picasso's cubist art.

Colorize a Black/White Photo

This is my colorize a black/white photo. I chose a picture of colored pencils because I thought it would be cool because there are so many different colors in this photo.

Surrealist Portait

This is my surrealist portrait. I used a combination of different fruits to recreate the same style of paintings as Giuseppe Arcimboldo.

Surrealist Landscape

This is my surrealist digital landscape. This is a picture of the Great Wall of China, and I replaced some of the wall with snakes, hid some green animals in the hillside, and added people walking on the mountains. 

Warhol-esque Digital Painting

This is my Warhol-esque project. I found a picture of John Lennon, multiplied its dimensions by two, so four would fit perfectly, added a filter, and adjusted the color. I then filled in other areas with the paint bucket tool.

Georgia O'Keeffe - Inspired Digital Painting

This is my Georgia O'Keeffe inspired painting project. First, I cropped the picture to focus on the main flower. Then I used the eye dropper and paint brush tools to complete the picture. Finally I used the blurring tool to recreate the look of an out of focus background and a focused subject.

Post-Impressionist Portrait

This is my Post Impressionist Portrait project. For this project I used a variety of different size brushes and opacities. I also blurred the different colors together to make it look as realistic as possible.

Sketchbook Pro Painting of Choice

This is my sketchbook pro assignment painting of choice. I used a variety of brushes and colors on the main sunflower to create a watercolor effect and the splatter paint tool on the background.

Create a New Logo

This is my create a new logo project. I used a new font, added some more information about the brand and added a picture of a beach at sunset in the background.

This is my formal/informal balance project. It is a formal balance because if you were to cut the photo in half, the two halves would look very similar.

Street Art

This is my street art project. I first colored the bricks over with the corresponding color of glitter, then I did a very simple zen doodle over the top.

This is my Rhythm and Movement project. I used ArtRage stencils and glitter to make the overall look of the picture.

Rothko-esque Painting

This is my Rothko-esque painting project. I used the software ArtRage. Mark Rothko's paintings had very soft edges and were very well blended. I recreated this effect with blending tools.

Celebrity With Animal Name

This is my celebrity with animal name project. I used Jimmy Fallon, but changed his name to jimmy Falcon. I then used a picture of a peregrine falcon and photoshopped a beak on.

Scanned Felt Tip Drawing

This is my scanned felt tip drawing assignment. I chose to draw the Imagine Dragons Smoke and Mirrors record cover, my favorite band and album of theirs.

9 Panel Comic Strip

This is my 9 Panel Comic Strip Project. I based it on my colored/shaded scene assignment and made a story out of it.

Color/Shaded Scene of Choice

This is my color/shaded scene of choice project. I used a variety of ways to color it in. The paint bucket tool, the magic wand tool and the gradient tool, and also adding a fill layer.

Bird Coloring Page

This is my bird coloring page assignment. I used a combination of pictures of fake feathers and animated feathers. I used the paint bucket tool to color in the branch and leaves, and I used a gradient fill layer to my the background look like the sky.

This is my Albrect Durer project. First I used the filter, 'graphic pen'. Then I changed the background to 'wax crayon on charcoal paper'.

Edward Gorey

This is my Edward Gorey Assignment. It was really hard to find a rhyme with my name but in the end I found words that rhyme with lie (the end sound of my name). I liked using the cookie cutter tool on this project because there were so many options.

Celebrity Coloring Page

This is my celebrity coloring page. I chose Kevin Malone from the american tv show, The Office. It is one of my favorite shows.

Cartoon Yourself

This is my Cartoon Yourself Project. To make the different colors of my hair I used the eye dropper tool and the smudge tool. This photo was taken in Port Isaac, Cornwall, England, so for the background I just changed it to a photo where you could actually see the town and port.

This is my cartoon version of the masterpiece, Constellation: The Morning Star, by Joan Miro.

The Scream

This is my The Scream Assignment. For this project I mostly used the paint bucket tool and brush tool to fill in the color. I added in my face with a filter to make it match the painting more.

This is my Mona Lisa Assignment. I changed the color of her clothes and I added The Louvre into the background, where she has been displayed since 1797.
